With the development of C-V2X and 5G technologies, the resulting features such as greater data throughput, lower latency, higher security, and more massive connections have greatly promoted the development of smart driving and smart travel. Through “vehicle-road-cloud” collaboration, on the one hand, it promotes the rapid development of intelligent networked vehicles and provides safer and smarter modes of travel; on the other hand, it empowers functions such as intelligent comprehensive perception of road conditions and dynamic cooperative traffic control to provide smart travel Lay the foundation for development.

In September 2019, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the "Outline for Building a Powerful Transportation Country", clearly proposing to vigorously develop smart transportation, promote the deep integration of new technologies such as big data, the Internet, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and supercomputing with the transportation industry, and strengthen intelligence The research and development of connected vehicles (smart cars, autonomous driving, and vehicle-road collaboration) form an independent and controllable complete industrial chain. Entering 2020, the new infrastructure presses the accelerator button for the digitalization process, and the new generation of technologies such as 5G, C-V2X, and AI has exploded. Smart transportation is entering a critical year, and Cooperative Vehicle Infrastructure System(CVIS) is an important support.

However, China's Cooperative Vehicle Infrastructure System industry is still in the collaborative perception stage, and further development is limited by issues such as the single application scenario of the Internet of Vehicles, the lack of a unified integrated management and operation platform, and the urgent need to build a public Internet of Vehicles test set and database. As mentioned earlier, the Cooperative Vehicle Infrastructure System industry involves governments, operators, equipment suppliers, technology
companies, solution providers, etc. Its development is more complex and requires multi-party collaboration. Cross-field cooperation will be main theme of the future of the Cooperative Vehicle Infrastructure System.

With the theme of “New Infrastructure, 5G Empowering Smart Mobility” as the theme, this summit will discuss 5G+C-V2X Cooperative Vehicle Infrastructure System, autonomous driving, and scenario-based smart mobility in response to current technological innovations and challenges. Human-driven commercial operations, short-distance shuttles, automatic parking, electrified intelligent transportation systems, etc. It aims to strengthen the exchanges and interactions between domestic and foreign auto companies and technology giants, industry experts, innovative company leaders, and technology entrepreneurial stars, explore how to adapt to the needs of user scenarios, and look forward to autonomous and smart mobility in the next era.
